Bowling and leisure corporation, Bowlplex plc, owns and operates sixteen 'total entertainment centres' across England, Wales and now Scotland.
Managing Director, Tracy Standish established the Bournemouth based company in 1976. Now with a number of achievements and accolades under its belt, for example being placed within the top 100 fastest growing companies in the UK by the Deloitte Indy 100 Awards, Bowlplex has accomplished a great deal in its history. Keeping to this tradition Bowlplex has recently won, amongst others, Best Family Entertainment Centre of the Year at the Annual Tenpin Bowling Proprietors Association.
Bowlplex is continually growing and plans to expand into other areas of the UK are in the pipeline. Only developing within multi-leisure locations, Bowlplex has established itself as a family entertainment centre, which is very much at the forefront of groundbreaking leisure facilities.
Every one of the sixteen operations has a 'multi-leisure' design. Within the infrastructure of the Bowlplex brand there are a number of other assets including a late licensed bar, DJ and dance floor, the Stadium Sports Bar showing big screen sports action, Grill, Video World with arcade technology, and an American Pool Pit.
The company turns over in excess of £30m and employs over 650 staff nationally and supports personal improvements with an enviable training and assessment programme.
