Bowling Co-ordinator

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF THE JOB
A proactive customer-facing role focusing upon:
• Ensuring effective management of the bowling operation
• Providing the highest standards of customer care
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Communications – ensure that effective communications are taking place at all levels, Cascade information to the appropriate employees, attend all relevant staff meetings
• Planning & Organising – Use time management skills to prioritise workload
• Training & Development – attend staff training as identified by the company
• Consistent application of company policies and procedures and brand standards
• Actively work towards achieving departmental targets including, maximising sales and revenue
• Maintain high levels of cash security
• Ensuring optimum lane usage at all times
• Monitor the condition of shoes and balls
• Create/ order booking sheets
• Leaflet distribution as directed by Sales and Marketing staff
• Processing league scores and displaying results as and when required
• To run an efficient switchboard, with a target response time of answering calls within 3 rings. Handling all calls and queries appropriately including bookings and deposits
• Looking after visitors, ensuring they sign in and out
• Ensure that the reception area is clean and tidy to visitors at all times
• To always greet customers and visitors in a pleasant and welcoming manner in accordance with Bowlplex brand standards
• Provide duty manager with appointment sheet on a daily basis
• Use centre PA system in accordance with the company brand standards
